Thank you, Ariana Vaughn, for accepting our LEGO donation! We are always thrilled to provide LEGO to WEAVE – your organization was our first BrickDreams recipient!
To date, we have donated 688 pounds of LEGO to kids in need.
Thank you to Sgt. Patrick Kohles for accepting our LEGO donation today. Thank you also for showing us the waiting area that you plan to create for families who are being interviewed – we look forward to providing you with more LEGO in the future.
To date we have donated 672 pounds of LEGO to kids in distress.
Thank you to Detective Sergeant Brent Craft for accepting our BrickDreams donation today. We hope it will be useful in dealing with kids during stressful situations. We delivered 11.5 lbs of LEGO today (one of the tennis ball tubes wasn’t full enough, so we took it back home).
To date we have delivered 652.5 lbs of LEGO to kids in distress.
Thank you to Irene Chu and the SAFE (Special Assault Forensics Evaluation) Center in Sacramento for accepting our DUPLO donation. This will be used in the waiting room for siblings of children being interviewed for being victims of or witness to potential felony abuse. We forgot to weigh the box, but based on another, similar box of DUPLO, we estimate that it weighed 7 lbs.
To date, BrickDreams has donated 641 lbs of LEGO to kids in need.
Thank you to Mary Hiel and family for sending LEGO all the way from New Jersey! We used your LEGO during our volunteer session today, and it will be delivered to kids who need it next week.
They sent this donation a while back, but we just noticed that we missed a few acknowledgements, and we apologize for that.
Thanks again for your donation to BrickDreams, Hiel family!
Thank you to Kyle and Lleyton Rutz as well as their mom, Susan, for spending this morning volunteering for BrickDreams.
They sorted and packaged 20 tubes of LEGO (10 pounds) which will be donated next week. Also, an early birthday shout-out to them – they turn 12 tomorrow! Happy Birthday Lleyton & Kyle!
