Thank you to the Mancini family from Darien, CT for mailing us a box of LEGO! We are so thrilled to receive donations from all over the country! Your donation will brighten the days of many deserving kids.
Thank you to the Baker family for your second LEGO donation to BrickDreams! Your family first donated LEGO to us during the Johnson Ranch/BrickDreams LEGO Drive in August 2014. We are thrilled that you contacted us again, and we look forward to passing on your generous gift to deserving kids in need. Thanks, Bakers!
Thank you, Leong Family, for shipping two huge boxes filled with LEGO from Hoboken, NJ to us!
Matthew, we are thrilled to accept the LEGO that you no longer play with; your donation will help many children to mentally escape, even for a short time, the terrible circumstance they may be in. Thank you, Leong Family.
Thank you, Rutz Family! We forgot to take pictures last night…
Kyle, Lleyton, and their mom, Susan have helped BrickDreams so often, and in so many ways, but we feel that we have not acknowledged them fully!
The Rutz family volunteered for us in the past by sorting and packaging LEGO for distribution. They also gathered several large bags filled with tennis ball containers for us. Last night, Lleyton and Kyle showed us a square prototype tray made of wood which was bought by their parents. In the center of the tray, they glued flat LEGO pieces. This will be so helpful for the staff of domestic violence shelters and interview centers. Children can build LEGO scenes in a contained tray, and clean-up will be much easier than trying to pick up LEGO from the floor of the waiting rooms or playrooms. In addition, the Rutz brothers also plan to sort and package more LEGO for us over the next few weeks.
Thank you, Rutz Family! We truly appreciate your help!
Thank you so much to WEAVE, Inc. for this beautifully written article.
Bailey contacted many organizations when he first thought about starting BrickDreams in 2012 – he wanted to find out if his idea of soliciting unwanted/unused LEGO and then donating them to kids in need could be implemented in our community. Many companies/organizations didn’t return his calls. Some made it difficult to establish a relationship for continued donations. WEAVE has always been the bright spot for Bailey and his BrickDreams.
Ariana Vaughan, Beth Hassett, Nichoel Menicucci, Julie Boernhoft and others at WEAVE endlessly supported and encouraged Bailey to start and grow BrickDreams. He was so thrilled and honored to make his first BrickDreams LEGO donation to WEAVE, Inc.
As Bailey goes off to college, we want to thank WEAVE, Inc. for all the help and support to him over the past three years. Maya and I look forward to continuing to work with the amazing staff at WEAVE. Thank you.

A very special thank you to Rosalie Allison for her LEGO donation. She drove to our home to gift us her unwanted LEGO a long time ago – October 31st, 2014!! We somehow missed acknowledging her on our website! We are so sorry! Rosalie, please know that your generosity helps so many kids affected by felony abuse and/or domestic violence. Thank you again.
Thank you to Commander Rick Hillman, Sergeant Chris Emery, Chief Cynthia Renaud, and Commander Dirk Regan for accepting our BrickDreams donations. We are grateful that Folsom PD plans to carry them in patrol cars and distribute the LEGO to kids during a frightening time in their lives.
