We’re excited to say a photographer from Fox 40’s morning show came to interview us for their Salute to Service segment. They saw the article about BrickDreams in the Folsom Telegraph last week and wanted to get to know more about what BrickDreams is about. The producer said the segment is scheduled to air on Wednesday, 12/21 at 6:23 and 8:15 am.

BrickDreams Participates in Folsom’s Community Service Day 2017
We had some very generous Lego donations in advance of yesterday’s Folsom Community Service Day that helped make sorting and packing 17 cases a reality! Thank you to the Hughes family of New York, the Garcia family of Texas and the anonymous donation left for us at the Community Service Day event. And a huge thank you to the 50 volunteers who enthusiastically supported BrickDreams.
Thousands to Serve Charities in Folsom
We have the honor of being one of more than 50 projects selected to benefit from lots of willing volunteers at the 2017 Community Day of Service in Folsom, CA. In advance of the day, the Folsom Telegraph has highlighted a couple of what they thought to be some of the most interesting projects and BrickDreams was one of those. Teen leaders, Lleyton and Kyle Rutz, were interviewed by the paper.

WEAVE, Inc.
Thank you so much to WEAVE, Inc. for this beautifully written article.
Bailey contacted many organizations when he first thought about starting BrickDreams in 2012 – he wanted to find out if his idea of soliciting unwanted/unused LEGO and then donating them to kids in need could be implemented in our community. Many companies/organizations didn’t return his calls. Some made it difficult to establish a relationship for continued donations. WEAVE has always been the bright spot for Bailey and his BrickDreams.
Ariana Vaughan, Beth Hassett, Nichoel Menicucci, Julie Boernhoft and others at WEAVE endlessly supported and encouraged Bailey to start and grow BrickDreams. He was so thrilled and honored to make his first BrickDreams LEGO donation to WEAVE, Inc.
As Bailey goes off to college, we want to thank WEAVE, Inc. for all the help and support to him over the past three years. Maya and I look forward to continuing to work with the amazing staff at WEAVE. Thank you.
