Lincoln Police Department

Thank you to Detective Sergeant Brent Craft for accepting our BrickDreams donation today.  We hope it will be useful in dealing with kids during stressful situations. We delivered 11.5 lbs of LEGO today (one of the tennis ball tubes wasn’t full enough, so we took it back home).

SAFE Center – DUPLO Donation

Thank you to Irene Chu and the SAFE (Special Assault Forensics Evaluation) Center in Sacramento for accepting our DUPLO donation.  This will be used in the waiting room for siblings of children being interviewed for being victims of or witness to potential felony abuse.  We forgot to weigh the box, but based on another, similar box of DUPLO, we estimate that it weighed 7 lbs.

SAFE Center – Sacramento, CA

Thank you to Irene Chu, Program Specialist and Emergency Response Director of SAFE (Sacramento Assault Forensic Evaluation) Center in Sacramento, CA for accepting our 25lb LEGO donation (50 tubes) on December 23rd. Thank you also for your time in explaining all the services that your facility offers to our community.

Children who are suspected of being abuse victims are interviewed at the SAFE Center.  These interviews are coordinated with Child Protective Services, the DA’s Office, and Police Investigators to determine if abuse has taken place.  We are grateful to be able to partner with SAFE Center, Sacramento, and hope to provide additional LEGO to them on a bi-monthly basis.

Rocklin Police Department

Thank you to Sgt. Trent Jewell for accepting our LEGO donation.  We dropped off 32 containers (16 pounds) of sorted and packaged LEGO for police officers to take on domestic violence calls with them.  Thank you to Rocklin PD for partnering with BrickDreams!
