Salute to Service

We’re excited to say a photographer from Fox 40’s morning show came to interview us for their Salute to Service segment. They saw the article about BrickDreams in the Folsom Telegraph last week and wanted to get to know more about what BrickDreams is about. The producer said the segment is scheduled to air on Wednesday, 12/21 at 6:23 and 8:15 am.

Thank you Roberts Family

We were fortunate to receive a large donation from the Rogers Family of Granite Bay, CA with so many Lego pieces to make great creations by BrickDreams recipients.  One of those pieces is a mini-fig or mini-figurine by Lego. BrickDreams places one complete mini-fig in each can we donate and they are not always easy to come by. We sort the them and remove any weapons. Thank you Rogers family for your donation filled with mini-figs to add to our supply!

Thank you Hogarth Family for Your Generous Donation

To say we are grateful for the donations that arrive in our PO box is an understatement.  Our youth leaders are excited to find them when they arrive.  This week, the Hogarth family’s donation arrived an was immediately sorted and distributed to one of our local partner agencies.  They were also as excited as we were.  Thank you Hogarth family of Stratford, CT.

For a Cause – Wine Country Fires Support

BrickDreams was moved this week when we received a note on behalf a young girl.  Her family lost their home and possessions in the wine country fires.  An avid Lego collector, she lost her entire Lego collection as her family quickly evacuated her home.  BrickDreams wants to help her rebuild what brought her such enjoyment, so we are expanding our mission a bit for the next few weeks. In addition to serving those who are victims of domestic violence and abuse, we want to help those like our young friend who have suffered a loss at the hands of the wine country fires.  If you are or know someone who has this need, please contact us now. napa fire
